ELIZABETH COX DAVIS CEMETERY, Anderson County, SC, cemetery location 5 miles north of Honea Path, Latitude N 34 30.564 x Longitude W 82 24.138, The grave site (about 40 yards from the road) is enclosed with a small chain link fence that can be seen from the road. The grave site is a slab laid flat on the earth and was erected by Elizabeth and Rueben Cox descendants in 1964. The slab reads

1850 Census Eastern Subdivision, Anderson County, South Carolina, page 246, lists an Elizabeth Cox 76 years of age living with William (45) and Margaret (44) Cox and children George W (18), Nancy E (15), John F (11), and Margaret Ann (8) all born in South Carolina
Also, living two families away is Thomas Cox (52) and Mary (50) with their children.
