List in 1702 Tax List for Perquimans Cty, NC with 4 in the household and 3 servants. Does not show in 1713 Poll Tax list. May have relocated to Tyrrell Cty by then.

Tyrrell County North Carolina Minutes Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions 1735 thru 1754, Book 1, by Betty Fagan Burr, 1981, p 5-6, September Court 1735 p 9, Court appoints "Anthony Alexander, Joseph Alexander, John Hassell, Edwd. Hassell, Abraham Hassell, Joshua Alexander, Benjamin Alexander and others to lay out a road from E side of Scopernung River to Benjamin Alexander's in Aligater to ye best advantage of travillers."
p 46-47, June 1740 p 49, Anthony Alexander ordered to be appointed guardian to the orphans of Robert Cohoon dec'd and that he take the said estate into his hands wherever to be found in this county first giving security in the sum of £200

Anthony's will lists him as a husbandman,. Thomas Bateman was listed as son-in-law in his will, don't know which daughter he married. It would indicate she was dec'd at the time of the will because he received a portion equal to other children.
